Recently I had the good fortune of getting one of the 33 newly released Oncyber “Genesis” Destinations, which is a virtual gallery space that can hold up to 38 paintings in a very smooth, well displayed format. I have big plans on how to use this space to support the community both abroad and here in Korea, and while the first iteration of the gallery is simply my paintings and my collection, the next gallery features the great artist Ali Sabet, showing 37 of his previously minted pieces all in one place.
I had been admiring Sabet’s work since joining the NFT space after hearing him speak in Clubhouse multiple times early on, and as a full time Naturopath/Acupuncturist myself, I was especially impressed and inspired by his integration of his path as a Healer with his journey as an artist. I invited him to do an artist talk in the Korean NFT Club, and he graciously spent more than 3 hours telling us about his journey as an artist, healer, and answered many questions from many aspiring Korean artists. Due to his seeking of the “highest frequency” as an artist and also being so open and supportive of the Korean community, it was a natural choice to invite him as the first guest artist in the gallery and it is an honor to host him.
(Please note that the link will only be valid for the duration of the exhibition) Stay tuned for exciting news about the next Fermata Gallery as well: a showcase of Korean artists by collector and community leader Justin Oh (JO7)!
